What We Do: We offer athletes and their families access to the most effective resources when and where they need them most. We provide useful and reliable information that will enable families to seek the assistance they require. Our strategies are personalized for each individual, placing emphasis on prevention and rehabilitation. We aim to treat Mental illnesses as soon as possible, before they reach the most important stages of the illness. Other services include: Employment, Housing, Nutrition, and Life coaching.
How We Do It: Through education, support, and advocacy, Psychletics strives to improve the quality of life for athletes affected by a variety of mental illnesses. Athletes' mental health is a crucial resource for performance and development. Athletes routinely face extra mental health risk factors compared to the non-athletic population, such as severe training demands, intense contests, and a hectic lifestyle.
Why We Do It: An athlete's psychological struggles, such as concussion, overtraining, and identity crisis, are on the rise. Mental health and physical health are inextricably linked, as demonstrated by the fact that mental health symptoms and disorders increase the risk of physical injury and delay rehabilitation. In our ideal world mental illness will no longer hinder an athlete's potential to make rational decisions in and outside of competition.
